Your horse isalone right now

Between the last check at night and the first one at dawn, nobody is watching. HCS is.

Eight hours nobody is in the barn

A horse can go from settled to a surgical colic in the time it takes a yard to sleep. The morning feed is not an alarm. It is a discovery.

Illustration, not a recorded case — HCS has no installations yet.

Colic has a posture before it has a diagnosis

HCS starts with colic, because colic announces itself in the body long before anyone hears about it. These are the behaviours it is being trained to recognise.

Line drawing of a horse striking the ground with a raised front hoof

Pawing

Striking the bedding over and over with a front hoof.

Line drawing of a horse on its back mid-roll with legs in the air

Rolling

Going down hard and rolling, often repeatedly.

Line drawing of a horse turning its head back toward its flank

Flank watching

Head turned back to stare at its own belly.

Line drawing of a horse half-risen between lying and standing

Up and down

Lying, rising, lying again, never settling.

Colic is the only behaviour HCS commits to today. Anything else you have read about camera AI — foaling, lameness, cast horses — we have not built and will not claim.

Then the light comes through

The camera watches the box. The model reads posture, repetition and time, not motion alone. When the pattern holds long enough to mean something, one cell lights and your phone does the rest.

It watches

Continuously, through the dark, without a person in the loop.

It reads

Posture and repetition over time — not every movement is distress.

It calls

You are woken. What happens next is still yours to decide.

HCS does not treat, diagnose or replace your vet. It shortens the gap between something going wrong and somebody knowing.

Where HCS actually is

We are building. Nothing here is for sale yet, and this page is not going to pretend otherwise.

BuiltThe behaviour models, starting with colic.
In progressOur own stable cameras. We are making the hardware rather than assuming yours.
Not decidedPricing, launch date, and which behaviours come after colic.
Not yet trueWe have no installations, no customers and no accuracy figures to show you. When we do, they will be real ones.

What we want right now is stables to build this with — barns willing to let us look at real nights.

Who this is for

The horse in the box does not know how many others are in the yard.

Private owners

One horse or five, at home or on livery, and the worry that follows you to bed.

Livery yards

Other people's horses, overnight, with your name on the duty of care.

Studs

Bloodlines with decades of work in them, alone in a box at 3am.

Competition yards

Athletes whose bad night costs a season.
